Wave Riders

By Sujatha.R

It was dark in the night

The moon smiling warmly at the Sea

The earth in silence, pondered the moon

while city still awake and live

On listening to the soul lifting music

went before the vast Ocean

Saw the divine, majestic sight

Waves of soothing and calm

Waves in diversity danced together

striding in uniformity and brevity

Dancing swiftly to the notes

Dance of the warriors, dance to the bravery

Dance to the knight in armour galloping on horses

Dark iron masques with Spartan shields and heavy spears

They even had Excalibur sword

They fought valiantly strong

Are they Robin Hoods?

Are they William Wallace's warriors from Scotland?

Who sacrificed his life holding justice

If I was the princess

I would be a soldier for them

It blossomed the striking radiance in me

It enlivens me

It woke my soul in me

Is it a movie?

It is afternoon now the reality
