Water

By Mahira Ahmad

Standing in shallow,

When my thoughts echo,

With wave’s gentle whispers,

And a little warmth of sun,

With the tickling cold breeze,

Which makes it silently loud,

And it is all,

When I get mellow

The moment I wish nobody would shackle

As in the silence, I awaken,

And if I were Water,

Then I would wander forever
