Was It From The Beginning

I am so done that

Now I feel so numb

Even if I feel like crying

I can’t even shed a tear

You might think what happened

So let’s begin from the start

When it all happened

I met you on a Sunday

After so long that I was anxious

But when I saw you

I felt an instant attraction

We talked

In that process I felt a connection

But I denied the situation

One day you admitted

But I was worried

So I rejected

Still we chatted

After some time I made a confession

But you weren’t ready

So this time you were the one with rejection

We were still talking

But I could find a void forming

Your efforts were declining

But still I was trying

Though I knew I was losing

Last night I gave in all

In the hope you would take in all

But now my blinds are open

I felt so awoken

From my fantasies

That now I am broken
