‘War Music’

The last thing the men heard before they marched off to war

Was the Waltz of their sacrifices.

A dying body’s last sounds

Are the drums of their heart

Showing them the life they’ve lived through music.

Mothers song to their baby’s in their belly’s

To make sure they know they’re safe.

Concerts bring joy and make new friends appear.

Music is quite literally the gold thread of people’s souls.
