War And Piece

History screams through my head,

As we continue this century-old fight.

This war that we started long ago,

To prove whose God is right.

"Divided we fall,

United we stand"

We all demand peace,

With blood on our hands.

This blood that runs through you and me,

Is nothing but the same.

Then why is the verdict of our life,

decided by our name?

As a kid, they told us,

"The Almighty God is One"

Now here we are defending our own God,

With our hands holding a gun.

These acts of terror we commit,

Actions driven by pure hate.

Walking on this crimson path,

Are we supposed to find Heaven's gate?

God himself must be thinking,

"How did my creation sink so low?"

The God that we all fight for,

Has left this place a long time ago.

He hopes one day peace will restore,

One day humanity will win.

Until we stop this act of hate,

We all remain God's only Sin.
