Waiting in the Q

I was still doing ABC,’s when I met you

I crawled into the space that had letters

But U was missing

Though I grew up knowing we had 26 Alphabetical letters the I seemed to also get lost in the mist of what was going on

I remember writing a letter but could not complete because of all those missing letters

A counted again and again I went ABC a thousand times thinking I had missed something though I seemed to skip the Q also as I got tired of waiting to be chosen

I went 123 trying to make the letter match the numbers but I found myself confused cause it did not make sense

I gave you my body mind and soul but yet the I was not enough I wanted to get the comfort in U but I guess I had to wait it the Q
