Waiting and Love

Waiting is a reminder,

A reminder of the moment

We first met,

And then love emerges—

Love, like the waves of oceans,

Merging into each other.

My solitude is for my love,

To recall the touch of a lover,

The touch, the crawl of hands,

Lips that meet,

Hearts beating faster and faster.

Lips, a bit moist,

With hunger and passion

That dissolves into each other.

My heart hurts more,

A hurt that mirrors yours,

A passion that finds you,

With eyes that see only you,

See the world for us.

What else matters

When there is all darkness,

But the stars shine bright?

This is the moment we waited for,

For the freedom we admire,

To revel in our love,

To Savor our togetherness.

My soul is made of pieces,

Pieces born of love that involves waiting,

Waiting for a lover to crawl,

To crawl upon a soul that weeps,

Weeps for another soul in love.

Waiting is painful,

And delaying is a crime,

For lovers who long to rise,

To rise in love, to the moon and beyond
