Voids

By Rachana Shukla

It is the voids that enhance the filled spaces.

Its just the matter of perspective.

People always appreciate intricate designs. And moreover the blank spaces between the design gives it the detailed version. A full solid block of wood or marble is not appreciated as much as a carved one.

It is also more beautiful to look at.

The setbacks that you encounter before reaching your destination, makes it more sweeter once you reach there. It is then more enjoyable. The struggle is remembered equally after reaching the destination.

Like, the scars on soldiers are appreciated once they are back home from a war.

Need to see the bigger picture from a certain distance..

If we focus just on voids, it might not look that presentable..

If we take a step up I would say, and look at the bigger picture where you can then see the voids blending together with the filled spaces, creating a beautiful design. You admire that much more.

Same is with our lives, isnt it, we always tend to look differently towards the bad patches in our life..our void spaces. Let the time pass, and then once we become mature enough to step up a bit and observe our life from a distance; we feel amazed.  We feel amazed at how those void spaces enhance our entire life's picture. Those wavy paths we have walked give more meaning, more elegance to our life which would have been otherwise dull if the road was straight.

So ultimately, it's the voids that balances the entire picture.

The less you have something, the more you appreciate that once you get it.
