Virtual Longing

A glimpse, a short view.

Through the window,

A virtual one, accessed by many.

“Unreal”, thought the mind watching.

It saw someone.

A part, small passing image.

A shy message, probing lightly.

It received on the conceiving night,

Wondering, it said “Amazing”

Excited, whispers on it lips

As the fingers coordinated,

Writing a thought, a reply.

Back and forth, multiple exchanges.

One, visage behind it smiling.

The other with an unknown expression.

Time passed on this repeating cycle.

One touch, a click, an opening.

It saw a view again, 

It said, with awe in its eyes- “divine”.

Stopped, the smiling face distracted.

A new, message opening.

Bewildered, it stopped the first one

The second was like the wind.

Shaking it’s trees, a little sway to it.

Time passed and it went away.

Repeating, the first line started again.

Now, smiles with a waiting gesture.

It begins the day to be notified.

A little smirk tugging at its visage.

The view never ceases to amaze it

As the wave of information

Weathering  its heart’s choice.

It’s back to square one.

Hard to decide, it still remains

How sly, not ending 

But the fear of losing.

Amazing sights it sees and loves.

It tries to write, surprised by silence.
