I once walked between death,

Where i too would end.

The road was littered with silence,

Of broken dreams and completed trials.

I looked upon the one who rest,

And wondered if he still sought unrest.

Yet his soundly slumber left no trace,

Of agony’s mark or times embrace.

The air was thick with stories untold,

Echoes of lives now quiet and cold.

I tread with care, through shadows deep,

Past monuments where memories sleep.

In their stillness, a lesson was drawn,

That life is fleeting, a dusk to dawn.

Yet here I stood, between the tides,

Caught between the quivers of life.

The path ahead was dark yet vast,

A choice to linger or move at last.

I stepped in faith, toward what may be,

Leaving behind their silent plea.
