I had my eyes filled with tears;

And my own set of fears.

The heartache of being "Cheated on" ,was unbearable;

All I wished at that point: If Time was something reversible ..

With a pale face, hopelessly walking on a somewhat murky street;

I suddenly hear a voice~" It's not the Time to retreat !" 

Unable to comprehend I asked, what he meant;

All he said was , 'Emotions are great,but they don't pay your rent..'

Life gives you lessons,one at a time;

And you fail If,

You become overwhelmed and break your emotion spine...

"Rise like a Phoenix buddy!"

Enough of dependency, it's time to show and shine;

Focus on yourself,

And you'll experience,

A magic sublime...

"Got you!"~I smiled

Merrily jumping on the same murky street,

I exclaimed, "I am my Own Valentine"....
