Vagabond

A vagabond I'm by choice...

Would not claim a piece of land to myself.

I have no desire to lead a life of pretension.

Why should I settle for less to suffocate myself !

Confines of four walls would cripple my possibilities.

They cannot safeguard my soulful interests.

Rather would push me to a lifelong penury.

Like a prisoner held captive, they would limit my dreams.

Call me by names.. whatever pleases you..

A loner, a crazy wanderer or a ruined.

Its not wrong if I say...

No rules ever made to stagnate me, bind me to a place.

I'm raw by nature, free like a bird, a river, the wind 'n' the clouds.

To chase my dreams I have to migrate.

The lush green meadows and the hilly terrains...

The scalding hot deserts and the impenetrable wilds...

My feet keep moving to where my heart summons.

I'm a survivor against odds, I know how to persevere.

I sojourn at a place, toil hard day by day, build a nest.

At the day's end, I lay down in the nature's lap to rest.

Every dawn brings me challenges with hopes.

I constantly abandon a place for somewhere else.

No destination pre planned, I traverse the rigidities.

For me moving on is life and so I move away..

To make a fresh start and begin life from scratch.

Every time I am a novice to my surroundings.

Unknown, unfamiliar with people, places and things.

And I love this way.. will somehow make a life.
