Vacuum

By Aishee Debnath.

Layers and layers

Over & below

And sometimes in between,

Quitting the fact of sunrise

Swallowed the oath of the dumped tide,

Shelter to be the direct caves

Hovering into the fallen leaves.

Layers and layers

Over & below

And sometimes in between,

Up and above the ground till plates

Welcoming the lava splitting into gates,

Considering the fire flowing inside

Giving up on the wind blowing outside.

Layers and layers

Over & below

And sometimes in between,

Gazing through the motion of window

Flying it seems to bestow,

Pointing the pin towards the eye

Covering the bowl completing the sky.

Layers and layers

Over & below

And sometimes in between,

Flooding all around while it appears

Acting like the fear stopping as barriers,

Stepping onto the worried opaque pages

Expecting to be the loved transparent ages.
