Unveiling the Veil!

Forever putting on a veil of someone known,

He successfully hides all his unknown traumas alone,

Forever smiling and dealing with activities of day-to-day,

He is never allowed to cry out his heart’s pain.

Successfully normalized as if he is left with no plight,

Just lending his shoulders at all times,

He can’t even complain that he is not okay,

Forever masked in a personality expected, he just stays.

Why a Man can’t feel low?

Why does he have to act like a superman all the more?

Why are we compelled to dig in all his emotions deeper?

Is he some power supernatural forever on some expedition?

Let them be given a stature equivalent to a Human,

Let’s regard both Men and Women as equal,

Both of them suffer and experience pain equally,

Then why do we just showcase the plight of Her only?

We need to understand one factor straight,

That Masculinity and Femininity are just concepts Man-made,

And only to fulfill their written motto,

We should never hold the Humanitarian ground at stake!
