Bam! Crash! Wham!

I skidded off the diving board. I fainted as my coach caught me. The next thing he did was throw a bucket of salty, mucky water.

This was my first swimming class, OOPS! I noticed everybody clicking at me. Ohh! Why do I get humiliated on the first day?

The coach told me to swim rather than dive.

I agreed.

I dived.

Then I swam as fast as I could.

I heard something detecting me.

I inhaled faster.

I saw something kaleidoscopic. I was about to have a go at it, so I could observe it.

I knew something was near me. I immediately started having a countdown for something.

1…2…3…4…

Something promptly gobbled me up! The illumination went black.

5…6…7…8…

Suddenly, a jaw sprang out. I remembered that I had gone to gymnastics before.

9…

I was near the whale’s face. It opened its wide mouth. I dogged all of the sharp, pointy teeth, and it pushed me inside carefully with its slobbery tounge.

10… Thud!

I thudded on the belly and had rolled my way to the tail, trying to figure a way out. It was a calamitous place.

Suddenly, the whale swallowed a gallon of water. I was horror-struck. I instantly counted backward.

10…9…8…7…

I saw something. A blowhole!

Straight away, a light bulb came to mind. Ting!

6…5…4…3…

I went where the hole was and got sucked in. But to my horror, I was stuck. My idea went down the drain.

2…Thump!

I fell down. I had to get out, but how? I crawled back to the belly, staring dreamily at the blowhole, trying to make a plan.

…1…(z...z…z..)

Third, I felt that I could understand the whale. I felt he muttered to me that he was alone. I soothed him with my gentle voice, uttering, "It’s okay". I finally voiced out, How did I get into its belly, and if it could let me go?" As if understanding, it took a swift upward step and opened its jaws!

Pump! Pump! Pump!

My heart pumped faster. I swam jitterily. I popped out. The whale I had been with turned to me and let me touch his body. We two touched! The killer shark and me! It heaved me on its back, and I lounged as we came to the surface. The coach gasped, a few children fainted, and one child even pressed the alarm.

Instantly, the police came. The coach fell to his knees and bellowed, Sorry! Please". "Why is he saying that? The children began to whisper. A police officer came up to them and began to explain," Your coach is a fraud, and there is an ocean below. He built this swimming pool on top of it, so whenever he doesn’t like any child, he will open the cages of whales so one will eat the child. After that, he lies to the respective parents that he saved the child on a swim trip but has suffered death!".

There was an awkward silence! I was sad that my friend was gone. During summer break, I and my parents went to Hawaii. At the beach, a wave splashed all over me. I looked up to a

Fountain -- No

Rock -- No

Whale -- YES

It was a whale that let me touch his body. I realized, Humpty!"( his new name). I learned how to surfboard, and then I collected seashells out of it. I used a blue string to sew it together as a BHAFF (Best Humand Animal Friend Forever). I always carry a needle and coloured strings for emergencies. "I Miss You", I hugged the whale, and in return, he grunted.

While we were back home, Mom gave me the best surprise, a whale tooth Minecraft machine.
