Untold Verses

By Ch.Khyati Neerajakshi

Something pulls me to him ;he’s the one

my heart always chooses.

I was attracted to him

in every possible way.

I could feel him more than I could say.

It is him, dressed in blue.

The desire is hidden deeply within me

to make him my blue forever.

My heart races while his eyes fix on me.

If I were anxious, which I’m not,

it would only be because of him.

The silence in my heart was louder

than any sound

as I watched him approach.

And these are my heart’s untold verses:

an unspoken ache;

because “hello” is the only word

I can force past my lips,

while ‘hello my love’

remains locked inside.
