We met, on a spring noon,

With just one smile you made me swoon,

On that dark stormy evening, when you asked me to dance,

This was the sign to make our hearts and souls intertwine, this was my only chance.

As I looked at you, under the moonshine,

A glance at your smile, I knew I had to make you mine,

As our eyes met, our souls locked fingers,

The lovestruck spell your smile casted, on my soul it would forever linger...

The oak shine of your olive hair, or the oceanic view of your sapphire eyes,

Made me fall into a trance deeper than the deepest skies.

As the clock struck twelve, I turned around,

I looked back and you were no where to be found.

As the scent of lilacs and honeysuckle grew fainter,

Words ran out with which I could describe her...

As we parted out these crossroads I'm glad we met, dear stranger...
