Unspoken Goodbye

I didn’t want to make you cry,

I never meant to hurt you.

Everything I did was out of love,

But somehow, I still couldn’t reach you.

As time passed, you started to change,

I thought I’d spend my life with you.

But things shifted — so did we,

And you chose to end it suddenly.

I swear, I never meant to cause pain,

Believe me, my love was always true.

But you stopped listening,

You changed and so did everything.

Now all I have are memories,

And eyes full of tears left to weep.

We both lost in this silent war,

Where ego claimed the final score.

I tried to save it, and so did you,

But fate had another way.

Now we walk different roads,

Each in our own separate way.

Be happy — live the life you choose,

I’ll smile just seeing you smile too.

Though you’re no longer by my side,

Your memory forever stays with me — inside.
