Who's gonna hold me when I blow with fate's wind?

Who's gonna whisper that I was in your heart and mind?

Who's gonna promise me we'll never part?

Who's gonna keep me alive till my last breath?

Who's gonna hold my hand in the shadow of death?

Who's gonna draw blood to remind me I'm alive?

Who's gonna touch me so I can feel?

Who's gonna love me when I can't love myself?

Who's gonna call me a dumb idiot and laugh it away?

Who's gonna find me when I'm lost in despair?

Who's gonna heal me with a gentle care?

Who's gonna light my path in the darkest night?

Who's gonna fight for me when I've lost the fight?

Who's gonna be my anchor in the stormy sea?

Who's gonna see the best in the worst of me?

Who's gonna catch my tears when I silently cry?

Who's gonna stand by me as the years go by?

Who's gonna lift me when I'm down on my knees?

Who's gonna warm me when I shiver in the breeze?

In every memory, in every thought,

In every shadow cast by light,

In every dawn that ends the night,

In every chance we bravely take,

In every word that's said in love,

In every sign from up above,

In every heartbeat loud and clear,

In every promise kept sincere,

In every joy, in every pain,

In every drop of falling rain,

In every hope that never dies,

You?

You swore you'd die for me, die for me, die for me,

Yet it may all just be a deceitful lie, lie, lie to me.

You promised the stars and the moon, stars and the moon, stars and the moon,

But left me alone in the dark, dark, dark too soon.

You said you'd always stay, always stay, always stay,

But now I'm here alone, alone, alone every day.

You whispered sweet dreams, sweet dreams, sweet dreams in my ear,

Yet turned them into nightmares, nightmares, nightmares I fear.

You vowed to mend my heart, mend my heart, mend my heart,

But all you did was tear, tear, tear it apart.

You painted love so bright, so bright, so bright in the sky,

But now those colors fade, fade, fade as I cry.

You held my trembling hands, trembling hands, trembling hands in the night,

Now they're cold and empty, empty, empty without light.

You made me believe, believe, believe in your touch,

Now all I feel is void, void, void and it's too much.

You built me up high, high, high with your words,

Only to let me fall, fall, fall like wounded birds.

You promised to fight for us, fight for us, fight for us through it all,

But when the battles came, came, came, you let me fall.

You swore we'd never part, never part, never part come what may,

But now I'm left with shadows, shadows, shadows and dismay,

You said you'd be my rock, my rock, my rock in the storm,

But now I'm adrift, adrift, adrift far from your form.

You vowed our love was true, was true, was true with no end,

But now I'm questioning, questioning, questioning every bend.

You built castles, castles, castles in the air,

Now they're ruins, ruins, ruins of despair.

You promised peace, peace, peace for our lives,

But left behind, behind, behind only knives.

You said we'd conquer, conquer, conquer every fear,

But now you're gone, gone, gone and I'm still here.

You promised forever, forever, forever by my side,

But forever's short, short, short, and so you lied.

You promised me a home, a home, a home in your heart,

But left me wandering, wandering, wandering from the start.

You were my everything, everything, everything bright,

But now you're just a memory, memory, memory in the night.

Like stars that once adorned the sky, sky, sky with their might,

Now lost amidst the darkness, darkness, darkness, out of sight.

You once claimed I was the love of your life, love of your life, love of your life, in dry,

But it's become my loss, my love, loss of my life, as I cry.

You may ask. Why? Because I say.........

You crave your yearning for my hugs,

Yet recoil at the thought of touching me.

You declare a desire for tenderness,

Yet construct barriers around us.

You weave dreams of shared lives,

Yet shy away from conversation.

You express a longing to kiss,

Yet hesitate to let your lips meet mine.

You declare your love for the midnight hour,

Yet dread the judgments of others.

You say you are a poet on the brink,

Yet you're afraid to bleed your feelings in ink.

You speak of missing me,

Yet postpone your desires.

You claim to be my favored theme, the Juliet of my poetic collection,

Yet you burned each line I dreamed to pen, extinguishing my reflection.

You claim I was your home,

Yet you buried the keys amidst storms in your mind,

Happily giving them away to another,

But it seems you mistook my heart for a rental.

You proclaim yourself a flawless lover,

Yet fear to truly immerse yourself in love.

So when you softly utter those three words,

"I love you," into my ear,

I cannot help but wonder,

Will your love withstand the storms,

Or wither like petals in the frost?

In this verses, I've penned down the thoughts and feelings that I've

struggled to express in person. Each poem reflects moments of

reflection, hesitation, and longing – all the things I've felt but found

difficult to articulate. The dedication,

"One for the relationship, one for the memories we having, and one

for the memories we wish to have," captures the essence of what I've

tried to convey: the complexity of emotions that accompany love,

both the joys and the uncertainties.

These poems are my attempt to navigate the maze of my own mind,

to make sense of the whirlwind of emotions that love brings. Some of

the insecurities I've explored here are real, while others are born

from overthinking and fear. But amidst it all, one truth remains

constant: my love for her is deep and unwavering.

I hope that in reading these verses, others may find resonance with

their own experiences of love and longing. And above all, may these

words serve as a silent way to the enduring power of love, even in

the face of doubt and uncertainty.
