"Unnecessary" is an representation of one of the artist's perceptions of life. Due to unfortunate situations and experiences this year, Jordynn had been dealing with emotions of confusion, injustice, and anger. But after spending time on healing, she learned a truth of life: that the concept of life can often be unfair, so why spend time complaining about the things she couldn't change?

The chaos of colors, textures, and materials, as well as the eye as the centerpiece of this creation, are a visual manifestation of emotions, perception, and the journey to acceptance.
