Life is a strange phenomenon filled with unfinished sentences and promises left to echo in empty spaces.

Some words remain unspoken,

some wounds unresolved,

and some reunions

never come as we imagined.

It is a cruel sorrow

to believe there will be

another laugh,

another game,

another chance

only for fate

to replace anticipation

with mourning.

To see someone once alive

with stories yet to tell,

reduced instead

to silence,

to ritual,

to memory.

And perhaps that is life’s greatest tragedy: not always death itself, but the closure

it so often steals.
