Caption Of Artwork: I created this is a ceramic sculpture to embody the undersea aesthetic. The coral growing over the clam and the octopus utilizing the clam as a home represents the natural world’s way of attempting to adapt to the rapid climate changes occurring in our world. I used a variety of dark colored glazes to mimic a coral reef and a purple hue on the octopus to make it stand out but still fit the color scheme.
