Under The Rain

Updated: Jul 15, 2025

When the dark clouds hovered the sky,

And the Zephyr caressed my skin,

I remember him.

His enchanting scent redolent in the air,

And his kiss lingered in the rain.

The breeze touched me gently,

Reminding me of his gentle touch on my skin.

The pearl drops that kissed him,

Kissed me too,

Bathing me in love within.

I couldn't help but smile

When my nostrils hit with his smell.

My mind is veiled as to,

How I grew fond of his fragrance.

His fragrance made me feel his presence,

And I know he never left my heart

Though I never entered his.

Under the rain's gentle touch,

I imagined myself being in his warm hug.

Each raindrop felt like his kiss and

The passing wind is his gentle touch on me.

He kissed me without kissing,

He touched my soul without knowing,

And he became a permanent resident

In the garden of my heart,

Uninvited, yet warmly welcomed.

To him, the raindrops were empty whispers

To me, they were the symphony of lovers.

While he is distant from the rain,

I am underneath its divine interplay.

Now, I send him my love through the gentle gust.

I asked the whisperwind to murmur my message in his ears,

And I hope the rain kisses him too

Like it kissed me.

From his lover who loved him secretly.
