Under The Almond Tree

Mar 2, 2023

As the grass danced to the sweet music

Of the late-night breeze that blew

The rays of the moon reached and licked

Branches of the almond tree and its blooms

On the white diamond studded infinite blue silk

Looked down at us the bright moon whiter than milk

Under the pink blossoms that hugged the branches tight

Fireflies danced around us showing off their light

Together on a swing we sway all night

Amidst all we unroll our love tonight…
