Unbreakable Me

When storms of havoc knocked at my door,

I wore my courage to greet them with pleasure,

I'm glad you are back I told them and smiled,

I had waited so long for the showdown to occur;

I offered them to sit however some hustle they were in,

They broke all things around but me,

With sweet words of poison & hardly escaped weapons,

I killed them all with the passage of time;

I stood over broken glass & walked with the pieces,

That felt like daggers thrusting through my skin,

I knew I was leaving a trail of blood,

Not once did I pause to look back or return;

I could have screamed or dialed for help,

But my nightmares & battles belong to me,

These demons are smaller than the ones I had dreamt of,

Go tell the world it can never break me.
