Unbosom

Updated: Jul 18, 2025

By Ahmed Sumaiya S M

Unbosom is a poem that highlights the serenity of self-confessions, delving into how it can bring clarity, healing and deeper connection to one's true self.

Disembarrassed!

Shun away from deaf ears and blind eyes,

beyond suspicions, envies and disappointments.

Unveiled!

Simplified emotions and explicit thoughts,

no words unuttered or misconstrued.

Invade your own soul,

enter your heart and dwell in your brain,

spill the tea, for you are sequestered.

Whine and cherish,

whimper and chuckle,

of all that concerned and comforted you,

for the reason you ought to yourself!
