Yehi umeed thee ki na-umeed rahéin

Jaisi rakhe zindagi fir vaise he rahein

Hasna aur rona dono ka ik mazza hai

Khushali mein udaas aur barbaadi me khush rahein

Kehna kuch chaaha aur keh kuch diya

Bina kuch kahe bhi bohot kuch kahein

Jisse bhi chaaha usse chor diya

Jo kuch na chaaha fir vahi karte rahe

Ik muddat se hai zindagi kuch is tarah

Aur shayad aage bhi fir aise he rahe

Khuli aankho se dikhe sapne ab aujhal hai

Band aankho mein neend ko pukaar na sake

Iss raah mein kis mod par shayad

Khushiyon ka jamghat mera intezaar karre

shayad ussi rah ka ik rahgir achanak

Apni nauka mein mujhe le ye dariya paar karre

Anginat kahaniyo mein ik aur kahani sahi

Khudi ko sunne aur khudi se kahein

Jabaaz hai vo log jo umeed lagate hai

Humari yehi umeed ki na-umeed rahein
