Umeed

By Nasheed Asad

Roz dekhta hoon tumhe akela hostel ke bahar jahan tum apne doston ka intezaar karti ho. Tum roz chali jaati ho hamein andekha karke, main roz wahin apna dil chod aata hoon agli subah tak ke liye jab tum fir aaogi, iss umeed me ki der se hi sahi tum mil hi jaogi.

Haan mohabbat hai tumse bas jatana nahi aata, tumse izhaar karna hai magar batana nahi aata, sare raah rok tumko magar satana nahi aata, tumhare siwa lekin kahin jaana nahi aata. Kabhi to batayenge tumhe aur tum aajaogi, haan umeed hai aaj bhi ki tum mil hi jaogi.

Woh din bhi yaad hoga yumhe jab tumko khubsoorat kehne wala ekmatra shaks main hi tha. Tumhari khubsoorti ko pehchaan dilane wala wo bewakoof main hi tha. Ehsaan nahi ginata hoon, pehchaan bhi zaruri nahi, bas batana munasib samjha ki jo kitaab kho gaya tha tumhara usko chupke se churane wala ekmatra amanatdaar main hi tha.

WhatsApp aur Hike par hamari pyaari pyaari baaton par apna ekmatra haq jatane wala himakatdaar main hi tha. Woh aaj bhi mere paas hai mere dimag ke kisi kone me. Roz padh leta hoon tumhare messages se tumko, tumhe yaad karta hoon. Yunhi padhte padhte shayad tum poori yaad ho jaogi. Haan umeed hai aaj bhi ki tum mil hi jaogi.
