Ugly Scribbles

With dark gray tessellations, 

I chose to mirror the shadow of mine from up close

Rusted fingers fluttering over the unpigmented sheet 

I let my soul resonate the thorny sounds of the tyrannical people 

Reminding me of the fire licking the pieces of dreams I left to be dried off as they were drenched in tears 


Whilst the silence awake the storms,

the frequencies of their voices make me loathe myself, my unalluring frame, far worse than I could ever 

As if whisper shouting me to remain hidden in the ruins of dead barks 


Oh blazing sun,

gaze up at me in the mirrors of the world 

You'd be keen in the havoc of summers 

where the tears become vapour and smug,

depriving the subtle sweetness 

Amidst the blue, no human can get me back 

No soft touch can make me soothe 


Behind the curtains is the loneliness that breathe 

The sigh it leaves, is the agony of my pained whorls with sorrows buried deep inside 


Miles away from the clock, 

A secret garden of dainty greens 

where whiffs of many sweet buds surrounds 

This is where I lie, with sweetness of hidden scents, under the veil of darkness 


Dreading to the ephemerality of people 

In which they bind me forcibly 

In the name of unnamed vows 

I weigh down my head 

Deep into the soft furs, and let myself carried away 

By the swirl of secrecy inside my brain
