Two Hearts of Gold

And so he walked in, 

And I knew at that moment, 

That I had never felt so happy. 

We were very young,

Yes, we still are.

Two different worlds,

But two hearts of gold.

Together in love,

With no room for disgust.

In acceptance of each other,

In God we trust.

His starry eyes,

That captivated my soul.

His charming embrace,

Enchanting to the core.

Endowed with patience,

I receive undivided attention.

With no question of confrontation,

He is a book of insightful 

Words of wisdom.

Shrouded in uncertainty, 

The future remains in ambiguity.

Yet the deep and enduring Love for each other,

Pours in hope and faith like no other. 

I love you,

Oh benevolent soul!

You are a gem of a person,

A heart of gold. 

I love you,

My favorite human.

In us, 

Is all I believe in. 

To be with you,

In all that's enduring.

For the rest of my life,

In your arms to tug in.

 I choose you,

And I will keep choosing you.

Through the lows and the highs,

Forever by your side.
