Is filled with thoughts of you

your boyish glee

compounding my affections

as I watch you again

bend over your bike

overalls folded down

around dusky hips

my heart fills and overflows

remembering the simplicity

of your beauty; your feral grace

the ferocity of your mouth

eating mine between sleep and waking

I am a heartache in disguise

a beautiful, fantastic freak

I burn; I burn

I am a sunspot blazing out your name

in lazy patterns in the sky

even today

I feel; I feel

destined like you to mortal pain

I ask you to hold me

in your eyes I read

that we have nothing left to say

I pray; I pray
