Truth and Fiction

The lines blurred between truth and fiction

For reality seemed to become distant

Distant and out of reach

Do I praise the truth or lay in the comfort of the lies I preach

For in this darkness of deceit

I’m thrown under a light that blinds me

Do I pretend it guides me?

For it’s a mirage, my truth untold

And these comforting arms of fiction

Where my mind runs free and reality is distant

I’m in a coma of reassurance

For my truth, I mustn’t forage

And this world is an empty storage
