They spoke greatly of the island

With silver rain and golden sand.

They praised its beauty highly

But said no one could find it, sadly.

A mad traveller once ser sail

His eyes eyed the map, watching the island without fail. He found the stars

They healed his scars.

His journey lasted for days

The skies never left his gaze.

The earth is far too pretty for mortal eyes to see

He spoke into the horizon over the sea.

When he did find the island afyer a week

His eyes left him too stunned to speak.

It had none of the wealth of pleasure

He scoured the land but found no treasure.

He weeped and wallowed

The islands reality was bitter than any truth he had ever swallowed. His gloomy eyes turned towards his vessel

there lied something special.

The evening sun and the sea on which it shone

Somehow, the traveller felt as if he was home.

The fishes that swam across with a glimmer

It reminded him of grace and silver.

Maybe this was the treasure they spoke of with a smile Far away from the world that is vile.
