Time may not heal but travel sure does

Everywhere you go becomes a part of you somehow

Let your lungs take in the fresh air

And your mind expel all the negativity it gained

As you watch the waves rise and fall,

Let your thoughts surf in them

As the trees sway to the wind

Let yourself sway and move with the flow

Ponder over your life’s choices in third person

Let negative things, people and emotions go

And rise back up akin to a wave after a crash

With a renewed perspective on your life

The ocean teaches you so many things

To embrace, to absorb and to let go,

If you make time to listen

The forests teach you a lot

To love, to provide and to protect,

If you make time to watch

The soil teaches you a lot

To nurture, to persist and to live,

If you make time to feel
