Torn Page

A Torn Page, flew and flew Where was it from? Nobody knew Out the window, in the sky Through the wind, it flies and flies Look! How it goes round the town, Out of reach, so up above

A torn Page, flew and flew With everyone looking too, Eager to know who it goes to Yelling around "oh look! oh look!" Is it yours? Or is it mine

Who knows? Let it fly

A torn Page, flew and flew

Down came the rain with a splash so huge! With the paper damp and wet

The rain laughed at the Page who wept, "You're hurting it! Can't you see ! " yelled the villagers with utmost fury

"I could careless about it " laughed the rain and left the Page, so hurt and frail

"Oh how cruel!" said a young girl about five. "Just wait! Till the sun arrives! It will destroy with its fiery gaze and make you cry! " yelled the girl with hope in her voice

Leaving the rain with terror by its side

A torn Page, now damp and weak, Waiting for the sun's arrival, you see, The rain slows down with a yell so shrill, Leaving the town an unwanted chill, Warmed by the sun's gaze the Page is saved Lying down on the road eager to be traced Out comes a young lad, anxious about something

"Where's my Page?! " yelled the young man blinded with worry

"Come here my child, it's right here, you see

A torn Page, so ragged and scared Flew round town but will never again,

" enough mischief for you my torn Page look how smudged and faded the words are!" Yelled the young lad with frustration on his face

All day long flew the torn Page

Annoying it's master beat down with dirt and rain

After all this time

The torn Page can gladly say

"Mischief managed "

In the bright sunny day!
