Tormentor's Embrace

Updated: Jul 12, 2025

By Ananya Bansal

Oh, to be in love with you tormentor

Only if she had been a but gentler

With my heart

And not ripped it apart

To be on a constant roller coaster

With the one on the wanted poster

As I was dragged to the bottom line

I still wondered if I could make her mine

I let her relentlessly gut me out

While all I could do was pout

I didn’t want to let her go

Even when I was on the bottom level of low

I realized too late

When she had already closed the gate

I attempted to escape the fortress

But she pretended to clear the mess

And I tried to make her better

But she took me out with a cutter

I bled to death, fooled

Whilst, she with her mouth open, drooled
