Torch in The Dark

In quiet corners, where shadows creep,

A flame was sparked from the silence deep.

A torch in hand, a guiding spark,

To light the way through paths so dark.

The journey began toward distant lands,

With doubt and fear close at hand.

The road was rough, the night so cold,

Yet I held that torch, steady and bold.

I stumbled often, tripped and fell,

Each bruise a story I could tell.

But through each fall, I found a flame—

A strength within that bore no name.

The winds would whisper, the nights would cry,

Yet I stood firm beneath the sky.

That torch still burned, an endless light,

Fueling my soul through darkest night.

Though bones grew tired, and skin wore thin,

The journey left its mark within.

For every stumble, every rise,

Revealed the dawn before my eyes.

With every step, the shadows fade,

For in my heart, hope had been laid.

And in the dark, my spirit stands,

A light of courage in my hands.
