Toothache

My toothaches with sweetness

My toothaches with sourness

My toothaches in bitterness

My toothaches in hunger

My toothaches in cold

My toothaches in warmth

The sting of sour blood,

Followed by prying hand

Stretching my jaw way past it’s limit

I hear the bones crack,

The doctor uses his hands to put me out of my misery

The spine breaks like leaves in the cold weather

The final aches start to numb, when the amnesia wears off

I will spit the blood, remnants into the bowl

My jaw forever locked, I hope it stays that way
