Too Much Too

Giving me Hope

A sense of future disappointment untold

Memories fill me

Of those times of broken hope

A touchy matter no one understands

Hurting knowing unknowing

a petite sorrow advanced

Negligent understanding

A stranger inside

A familiar mask

where a foreign soul resides.

Futile to think about

Everything’s a lie

Knowing not to trust

And then you do and then rust

Writhing in this inner turmoil

In the end there is no use

Opening up to someone

Should have known better than to call a truce

Apparently that was too

Too much to ask

Don’t deserve to live

Don’t deserve afterlife pass

Just repeating this torment of a life

Stuck in this loop

Living this lie

Every reality unknown

No soul of my own

At least it can be free

Or I hope so at least

But what if that’s too much to be

Just existing

An endless loop

I want to go flying

But maybe that’s too much too
