Tolerate It.

With hardly a murmur

I nurtured the waters.

But your museum

gardened a beast.

If only the sea could calm

the pirates' ship,

would you despise or tolerate the melancholy?

What would you do if

I ushered the shores

and left you barren?

If I mustered the courage

to take your name

out of mine and run.

If I gained the truth and

shot your lies from a canon.

Would you despise or tolerate the burn?
