TOGETHER FOREVER

One day long ago:

There was a city named “us”,

Live there you and me,

Far from the rush.

Life was smooth, paths were bright,

Only love could be seen,

As far goes the sight.

Though lips remain closed, we talk every day.

So true was love that eyes could convey.

Golden were the days, silvery the nights,

As you were not wrong but I was also right.

But, there was a villain too, as every story had,

‘World’ it was named- just wild and mad

He was angry on seeing us together,

No one tried to go against his rules ever.

We tried a lot to save “US” from the demon,

But all in vain, at last he could only won.

The city was no more; vanished from the map,

But, “WE” are still together in heaven’s lap.
