To Whom It May Concern

To whom?  I don’t know

Me, you, and anyone oh- ho-

But, I have to write a poem,

My wish has a sudden urge -

The Chorus- the person within,

The viral news: Doctor Miss Moumita Debnath

Found dead and raped in Seminar Hall at-

R. G. Kar Medical, Kolkata, on 9th  August,

“We want Justice” was the placard-

Who do they ask for what just is?

Alas, the victim,

Even when she sees her body, everyone is mourning,

None to give back life,

As no one was able to hear her crying

The rest of her life is resting.

If someone says ‘Got something’

That is all, the end of gossiping.

What is it then, the remaining advice, to console?

Every Crossing - a Counting-

And you have to decide on the time,

Selecting a type of rhythm with effect throughout life,

‘May’ be Love, kindness, hate

Normal living, fame, or fate

Nowadays the ‘Brand’.

Agreed, whatever be, we are human

Depending – on a share, Demanding.

Claim “May” hey the danger

Waiting to happen, anything.

Mine not to say for me -

Sail straight with poor status

Lane by lane, no counting prance,

Crossed the time, three cheers.

Death only takes, Life gives us :

The need- not only the birth of everything-

Liability is but, to maintain, to provide.

Please put all this –to bring forward

Concerning the mistake

Or to convince the fake,

Always –almost all the way -

To whom it may.

“To whom it may concern”,

And this is to certify that…….
