To My Feeble Friend

In the world full of Ammamma (maternal grandmother)

Hi! Nanamma (paternal grandmother)

I was never under nanny

instead, I got you funny granny

I kept you running crazy

at the end I stuck busy

You fed, babysit and raised Us

Now incredibly sorry for the abrupt mess

Your lovely memories are my treasury

out of that, there’s no recovery

Empty plates mirroring those dishes you make

that leaves our flashback awake

The garden you made

for sure it will never fade

Your budding flowers will bloom

after eleven days of gloom

I can’t accept that now you are a past

Your absence keeps my present worst

It’s too late to regret

and too hard to forget

You are not a page to turn over

You are a stage to come over

I don’t miss you

because I feel you every day…

(Remembering My Paternal Grandmother with Love and Gratitude)
