To My Clandestine, Destined Lover

Let the gentle joy of my sudden becoming haunt you.

My machiavellian ploys schemed in blue.

Walk with your meaningless stride, heaven and the angels whisper to me that they do not abide.

Pay no mind to the swift currents to come.

At the end of the river is my whirlpool so numb.

Distract, refract, detach yourself from me.

Find a new muse to complete your unfinished symphony.

I’ll be glaring from afar, writing sonnet after sonnet till I become a star.

Till not even the strongest of man can consume my soul.

Till not even the strongest of waves can dissolve me whole.

Till the last dance with you I will move.

Ballad of the fearing and the feared will be told, pirouette your nights away till my obsession grows mold.

So fear me, my once clandestine, destined lover.

Fear your fate as a hellbound rover.

On thin ice for now, it’ll bite your skin, cold and confound.

Be aware, for my love knows no bounds.
