To Have Bapu With Me

For all, Mahatma is Bapu

For me my father is Bapu.

Who can be more blessed than me

To have Bapu with me.

A little girl holds his fingers to walk

A Preeti girl finds her father to talk.

The best friend she ever had

Was to have in life her dad.

Year passed and time flew out

The little girl decided to step out.

He looked at the path chosen by her

He picked the thorns around her.

A pillar of strength

He supported her at length.

For all the mistakes and faults

He was always the strongest vault.

The time made the girl to fight her battles alone. But deep in her heart she was never alone. More days passed and years gone

The hand of the death came down.

It not only took away from the girl her dad But it also took away a friend she had. A long time has gone when the hand is no more But the pain of the loss is still not gone.

The girl looks at the sky and finds the star Which is smiling at her as if he is not gone. The prayers are for him where ever he is The best dad of the world he is.
