Titli ek phool pe baithi soch rahi

Kya pankh phailaun or ud jaun

Par kahin pankh phailaun to gir na jaun

Kahin udun to behak na jaun

Girun to phir uth na paun

Chalo chodo kya karna ud kar

Zaroori nahi har titli ud jaye

Apni khwahishon ko poora kar paye

Ek kinara bhi to zaroori hai

Apnon ka sahara bhi to zaroori hai

Par…

Na phailaun to yahin na reh jaun

Na ud paun, na pankh phailaun

Wo khoobsurat nazare, wo khushbuen, wo hawaen

Jo god me leke jhoola jhulayen

Or wadiyon me mera nam gungunayen

Wo sab kahin choot jayega

Mere khwabon ka qila toot jayega

Na rahegi meri penchan, na sunega koi meri awaz

Awazen goonjegi mere Kanon me bas toote hue khwabon ki, sisakte hue armano ki or anchahe khayalon ki

Phir roothke mere khwabon ne mujhse ye shikayat ki

Kyun ummed na kari unhe pane ki?

Phir kaise kahun mera koi kusoor nahi

Jab koshish bhi na ki pankh phailane ki

Chalo ud hi jati hun

Kya hua agar gir gayi

Uthungi or sambhal jaungi

Apne pankhon ko sametkar ek koshish or kar jaungi

Dar ki zanjeeron ko tod to paungi

Hawaon ka rukh mod to paungi

Un khoobsurat nazaron ko or chamakte hue sitaron ko

Thoda kareeb se mehsoos to kar paungi

Phir kya pata un chamakte hue sitaron me ek nam mera bhi ho,

Kuch Badal dene ka is duniya me ek hath mera bhi ho.

Zaroorat hai bas ek koshish ki jo main ab kar hi jaungi..

Main ud jaungi… bas ab ud jaungi…
