Time Please Stop

Time please stop

For a while,

Those that are gone

Can never be returned.

At least pause for a bit

And let me live

For the present,

As the past

Repeatedly flashes

And I realise

If things were so

As I wished for

My story would

Have been different.

And now future knocks

At the door

Always in a hurry,

Pushing the present

At the corner.

Dear future,

You are not welcome

Right now,

Let me live in the present,

A bit. You know

I am in love with it.
