Time Control!

Invisibility, teleporting, mind reading or flying free?

If you could choose a magical power, what would it be?

Present to future - it's a one way door,

Time control and you won't implore to explore!

When surrounded by happy and blissful moments, I always wish if I could put time on pause,

Enjoy those moments to the fullest, without any boundaries, without any laws!

I sometimes wish if I could go back in time and enjoy the beautiful moments that I took for granted,

Undo all the incorrigible mistakes I made or at least change the way I reacted!

When the pain of the past and the anxieties of the unpredictable future knock,

When I want everything to be just the way it is, how I wish I could stop the clock!

For all the wounds you've survived, they say time is the best healer,

It's funny how among all kinds, time is the ultimate killer!

Against time, neither happiness nor the grief survives,

It's the almighty time that commands our lives!

To not work according to it is actually a crime,

I always wonder how amazing it would be if I could control the time!
