TIMBER AND WOOD.
By Shruti Bhattacharya
Money wants you more
than your earth asks you to lie down,
and that’s how you succumb
to power or;
for power.
And often when the breaths are shallow;
and voices fade with the songs of swallow;
you know theirs all eyes on you,
it’s the mayhem of your bioluminescence;
fluttering your nymphs of nodes;
crawling all across your sense,
is the cry of forest,
abiding to your nature;
bows to the mother, power is in you.
To choose between timber and wood;
a choice of noble; an apocalyptic love.
Wasted in fluids
and toils
and every glucose
running through your soil;
in the end,
let you be dissolved,
or to diminished and due.
