Far away in the sea A boat riding through the breeze Sitting by the beach, I see As the boat is lost in the mist Across the river, And over the tides The boat took some long strides As it dealt with the rocks By the lake Lay in waste A boat so beautiful Yet in wreckage

Oh, I see As the boats meet, finally The ocean welcomes everything With open arms And slowly The boats drown The beautiful one, first The other two last And quickly, As I see this scene I know the brevity Of life
